#21 Entrevista #8 Azax Syndrom

1. How did Azax Syndrom started?

Regev Azaria : Azax Syndrom started in 2003, I was fired from my job as pc programmer and since i was already playing at some friends' parties as a dj, and i am good with computers, i thought why not give it a try...then life brought me to where I am at the moment, and I'm gratefull for that.

2. What were your influences at that time?

RA: My influences vary from Heavy metal to psytrance and, from what I was listening at that time, the idea was to create an alternative trance music that differs from what was at the scene at that time, this is how the dark psy started...

3. What are you listening at home nowadays?

RA: I'm not listening to a specific artist or genre, most of the time I'm busy at the studio.
So its more... whats on the radio, or television...I enjoy all sorts of music, I love music...

4. What words would you use to describe a dance floor?

RA: A place that people dance and have a good time?

5. How would you describe the development of trance music until nowadays?

RA: Trance music evolved as the technology and knowledge evolved and became available to everyone. Of course there are fashions in music, which affect the whole music industry from time to time, but i think the essence remains the same.

6. What are your expectactions for the future in terms of events and music technologies?

RA: I am an optimist guy and i expect to explore more aspects of sound, new technologies and new ideas in my music.
Of course to play as much as i can, and to deliver my message the easiest way i can, and to as much people as possible :)

When its happening its real magic!
